With over 50 years of experience teaching business, Coventry Business School strives to provide a dynamic and enterprising education experience for its students. We are a large scale, full service business school, offering undergraduate and postgraduate degrees, professional development courses, and business support to local, regional and national partners.

At Coventry Business School, we understand and recognise the importance of preparing our students for the changing and developing world of work, with a focus on applied theory, transferable skills, and challenging thinking. We are also passionate about using our experience, global footprint, and expert staff to empower companies to be disruptive in their approaches to solving the problems they face. Indeed, our support of small business and fostering of student entrepreneurship is recognised by our Small Business Charter accreditation – while we also work closely with government agencies such as the Cabinet Office and Highways England to deliver world class leadership training.

We are rightly proud of our outstanding teaching, staff, facilities and student experience. As part of Coventry University, we achieved Gold for outstanding teaching and learning in the Teaching Excellent Framework (TEF), as well as achieving an overall rating of 5 QS stars in the QS Stars University Ratings, and being ranked 1st in the World for Massive Online Open Courses (MoocLabs World University Rankings by MOOC performance 2021). Our business and management courses are also highly rated – ranking in the Top 250 in the QS World Rankings for Business and Management Studies.

As a Business School, we are passionate about working with our peers across the world to develop and advance business education and knowledge. To that end, we are active members of the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB), the European Foundation for Management Development (EFMD), and the Chartered Association of Business Schools (CABS). We are also members of the Global Business School Network (GBSN), a growing network of over 90 leading business schools on 6 continents, and The International Association for Management Development in Dynamic Societies (CEEMAN), an international management development association with 200 members from 50 countries globally.

We are part of an evolving and innovative university with excellent links with national and international organisations, in both the public and private sectors. Through Coventry University Group’s global offices in China, Dubai, Singapore, Rwanda, Kenya and Nigeria, Coventry Business School enjoys close relationships with leading universities around the world, providing opportunities for our students to study and work overseas.

Coventry Business School prides itself on delivering high quality research; working collaboratively and engaging with individuals, businesses and organisations to deliver impactful research that can make a difference to society and inform our teaching.

Through Coventry University’s Research Centres, we engage in high impact collaborative research. Most notably, we conduct work with the Centre for Business in Society, and the Centre for Financial and Corporate Integrity, delivering a broad portfolio of grant-funded internationally collaborative research, client funded consultancy, knowledge transfer activity, and international research exchange.

Our engagement also covers working closely with major accrediting bodies, with many of our courses holding accreditations. Bodies we work with include the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA), the Chartered Insurance Institute (CII), the Chartered Management Institute (CMI), Institute of Leadership and Management (ILM) and the Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM). A full accreditation list can be viewed here.

We are also always open to welcoming new students, partners and businesses. If you want to study with us, browse our list of undergraduate and postgraduate courses.
