CEEMAN has received approval for “Skilled Business Leaders for Skilled Europe” project funded by the Erasmus+ Program of the European Union (KA2 Strategic Partnerships) for preparation of cross-country report based on the findings of CEEMAN-led research on Management Development Needs in Dynamic Societies, development of guidelines for higher education institutions curricula, teaching materials and tools, and related education and dissemination events.

Management Center Innsbruck has earned initial accreditation by AACSB International - The Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business.

CEEMAN Case Teaching and Case Writing Workshop, led by experienced IMTA faculty members, Prof. Jim Ellert and Prof. Joe Pons, was held from 17-20 October at Narxoz University, Almaty, Kazakhstan and brought together 27 participants from eight institutions in Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan and Russia.

Over 2,000 coolhunters distributed in 54 countries that collect the latest innovations and business ideas in the main 15 B2C sectors daily participated in this study.

On 28 September, the PRME Central and Eastern European Chapter has had its second meeting, deciding on the future steps of the Chapter as well as discussing the topic of Boosting Social Entrepreneurship through Management Education. Close to 50 participants from 16 countries joined the meeting.

The 24th CEEMAN Annual Conference “Management Education for a Digital World” took place in Tallinn, Estonia from 28-30 September, hosted by Tallinn School of Economics and Business Administration (TSEBA). The participants had a chance to get to know the “digital world” at the innovative experiential workshop at e-Estonia and Ulemiste Technopolis and a number of internationally renowned speakers shared their insights and ideas in business and education panels.

With great sadness, we received the news of Prof. Madis Habakuk, CEEMAN Board member and one of the most dedicated pioneers of CEEMAN, passing away. These are the farewell words of prof. Danica Purg on behalf of CEEMAN at the commemorative ceremony of prof. Habakuk.
