The Talent Program of Riga Technical University (RTU) makes a big step towards Latvia’s new talents and gives a clear signal to potential students that the state cares about talented, motivated and purposeful young people. This was said at the opening event of RTU’s new initiative – the Talent Program – on August 27 by Valdis Dombrovskis, Vice-President of the European Commission, responsible for economic and financial affairs, who agreed to be the patron of the Talent Program.

For the second time in a row, the MBA GUT Programme was ranked in the international QS ranking, which classifies the best MBA EXECUTIVES programmes in the world. MBA GUT is placed amongst prestigious universities such as Stanford (USA), MIT (USA), London Business School (UK), IESE Business School (SP) and Berkeley (USA). It was awarded 101st place.

What does VUCA actually mean? It is an abbreviation coined from the following words: Volatility, Uncertainty, Complexity and Ambiguity. New postgraduate studies offered by the Faculty of Management and Economics at Gdansk University of Technology prepare students to navigate in such a world.

Since February 2019, Almaty Management University and the Tajik State University of Commerce have jointly implemented the project «Providing technical assistance in the development and implementation of a quality management system at the Tajik State University of Commerce» funded by the World Bank. This project became a new stage in the development of education in Tajikistan, as well as deepening partnerships between the two countries.

Facing unprecedented disruption over the past few months, for the first time in CEEMAN history the 28th CEEMAN Annual conference took place online. On 23-25 September 2020, the big CEEMAN family gathered once again - this time in virtual space - in order to search for Ideas and Inspiration for Management Development from Fields Beyond Management, the topic of this year's event.

KROK University has officially joined the UN global initiative PRME - Principles for Responsible Management Education, which is transforming business education through research and leadership. KROK Business School is authorized to represent and coordinate cooperation with PRME.

The 26th CEEMAN Case Writing Competition was organized for the fourteenth time in cooperation with Emerald Group Publishing. A total number of 63 cases from 15 countries (Colombia, Egypt, France, India, Mexico, Pakistan, Philippines, Russia, Saudi Arabia, South Africa, Spain, UAE, UK, Ukraine, and Uzbekistan) were submitted for the competition.

Launched in 2010, the annual CEEMAN Champions Awards recognize and promote outstanding achievements of faculty, management, and staff from CEEMAN member institutions in the categories of teaching, research, institutional management, and responsible management education.

It has come to our attention that with the current international travel restrictions due to COVID-19 and most training events going online, Erasmus+ Grant Support for the Mobility of Staff could cover “organizational support” of participation of teaching or administrative staff in online events that are at least 2 days long, in the amount of EUR 350 per person.

In the light of the current pandemic situation and keeping in mind safety and wellbeing of all of us, we decided to move all events of the 28th CEEMAN Annual Conference to an online format.
