Does army leadership differ from business leadership? What kind of challenges do leaders face on the battlefield? These and other leadership-related questions were discussed at the MODUS Initiative conference. Oleksandr Sudarkin, MIM-Kyiv MBA Programs Director, moderated the discussion. Representatives of the defense agencies of Ukraine, military officers, civil activists, veterans, and partners of Ukrainian armed forces took part in the event.

IEDC's efforts to meet the demands of its stakeholders through an entrepreneurial mind-set were rewarded through the World's Universities with Real Impact (WURI) rankings because of its focus on excellence, relevance and the dynamic nature of the institution. The award recognised IEDC's focus on being at the cutting edge of management education and acknowledged its innovative spirit.

Liene Briede, Director of the Science and Innovation Center of Riga Technical University (RTU) and doctoral student of Faculty of Engineering Economics and Management , has been approved as the first representative of Latvia at the Board of the European Innovation Council (EIC). The council, established this year, is the most ambitious innovation initiative in Europe. Its goal is to boost research, innovation and development of start-ups in order to bring a technological breakthrough to Europe.

IMISP Business School has become a partner of a media project created by one of the leading Russian economic media RBC “2021 Heroes. Captains of Free Market”. The goal of the project is popularization of individual initiatives contributing to the development of St. Petersburg (business and non-commercial projects).

A number of meetings connected with Soft Skills development in business took place at the IMISP Business Club.

On December 9-11th a practice module of the Executive MBA program took place.

Study at the charitable educational program for widows “You are at the helm” (in Russian “Ty u rulya”) has been completed.
