EU Business School held its fifth annual Oktoberfest Alumni Event on Friday, September 28, 2012. Alumni were lines up in front of Käfer Wies’n-Schänke where they took a few minutes to catch up with old professors, ex-classmates and their hosts, the Craen family.

20th CEEMAN Annual Conference, as the first ever CEEMAN annual conference to be held outside Europe, took place on 26-28 September 2012 in South Africa, co-organized with the University of Stellenbosch Business School (USB)

On the final day of the 20th CEEMAN Annual Conference, which took place in Cape Town, South Africa from 26 to 28 September, the CEEMAN Champion Awards were officially announced.

On October 8, 2012 EU students start classes at a brand new location in Munich. After five years at the campus on Gmunder Strasse (2007-2012), the university decided it was time for a change; and the new facility provides just that.

A new book by EU Business School professor Philippe G Nell is receiving praise for its first-hand insight into the negotiations that led to the signing of the European Economic Area (EEA) Agreement in 1992.

ISM University of Management and Economics will welcome 442 first-year students this academic year. Almost half of these (200) will receive state-financed study grants to cover part of their tuition fee. One in every six bachelor students (56) will study free of charge.

On September 12, 2012 at 7 p.m., EU Business School will host an evening with distinguished author and EU alumus, Xavier Alcober as he discusses his new book, El Mercader de Felicidad (The Merchant of Happiness).

The Board of ISM University of Management and Economics appointed Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nerijus Pačėsa president of the university for a second four-year term. Dr. Pačėsa has been working for ISM since 2002 and has been heading the university as of July 2008.
