The pandemic and, as a result, the lockdown stopped all programs based on student mobility. Students stay at home. At the same time, the transition to online forms of teaching by most universities generates opportunities because the physical locations of individual students are no longer relevant. Based on these two premises, we have built a project cooperation program between the students of SGH Warsaw School of Economics and Athena School of Management under the name ‘Virtual Program - Real Results’ (VP-RR).

On May 18, 2020, MIM-Kyiv launched its GNR.Next program designed for the new leaders of public administration. 100 representatives of all Ukrainian regions joined the program. It is the second stage of the MIM-Kyiv joint project with Mr. Garik Korogodsky, a well-known Ukrainian entrepreneur. The GNR.Next project was launched back in 2015 to instill the knowledge in both management and principles of public administration at all layers of public authorities. For MIM-Kyiv, it is a contribution to the structural reforms or rather the re-invention of Ukraine.

Due to the recent outbreak of the Coronavirus COVID-19, the AABS board along with the AABS Connect organising team have made the decision to postpone this year’s conference initially scheduled to take place in Dakar, Senegal in June. The Conference is therefore postponed (but not cancelled) to May 2021. New dates will be announced as soon as possible.

Lodz University of Technology (TUL) is the first Polish university awarded the prestigious international accreditation HCERES (Haut Conseil de l'évaluation de la recherche et de l'enseignement supérieur). The whole accreditation process took 2 years. The university performed very well on all 6 criteria and was fully accredited for 5 years.

In the ever-changing environment of our reality there are several major barriers that all educators have to overcome. Uncertainty is one of the biggest to address. A business degree is not easiest to defend in front of students when they are deciding the future. The current crisis once again demonstrated that being an independent business person is a risky job. IBS-Moscow determined not only to show students the way to professional development, but to help them unlock their potential with an example of two Master programs.

On February 25, one of the 20 winning startups in the GITA co-funding program at the Innovation and Technology Agency of the Ministry of Economy and Sustainable Development was a CU startup. CU Startup C10 accelerator helped develop this project, also, Startup accelerator C10 will help the winner in the implementation of his project.

Caucasus University, as well as the entire world, is facing a new reality and challenge, caused by the new Corona virus - COVID-19. Our team followed all the recommendations from the state and completely switched to distance learning and online work. In addition, online trainings have been launched by the Caucasus University Training Center, which, thanks to its advantages, is now attended by participants from all over the world.

World's top four audit companies - PwC, EY, KPMG, Deloitte & Touche - held a week-long meeting for students of Caucasus Business and Technology Schools. This is the first precedent in Georgia when the representatives of the Big Four held similar format meetings for students. It is important to note that Caucasus University was the first to host these meetings during its career week.
