CEEMAN is happy to announce that CEEMAN Board Member Prof. Antonio Freitas has been elected a member of the World Academy of Art & Science. Founded in 1960 by a group of scientists and intellectuals, WAAS is today made up of over 600 members from diverse cultures, nationalities and disciplines, chosen for being a reference in the art, social and natural sciences and the humanities.

Last Friday, the 20th edition of CEEMAN's flagship IMTA-International Management Teachers Academy concluded in Bled, followed by a special anniversary event to recognize the impact IMTA has had on its alumni. This year’s generation of IMTA was a particularly diverse one with 38 participants hailing from 19 countries, representing 30 institutions from four different continents.

The 20th edition of CEEMAN's flagship IMTA-International Management Teachers Academy has kicked off in Bled, Slovenia on 16 June. Over two weeks, 38 participants from 19 countries will have a chance to improve their teaching skills, methods and materials. The program continues to expand its outreach and impact with six of the 30 higher education institutions represented this year participating for the very first time.

In line with its commitment to deliver powerful learning experiences for managers and leaders, University of Pretoria’s Gordon Institute of Business Science (GIBS) has again been ranked by the esteemed UK Financial Times as the top provider of executive education, not only in South Africa but also across the African continent. GIBS moved up six places to 36 in this ranking.

The 6th PRME CEE Chapter regional meeting took place at Corvinus University in Budapest from 30 - 31 of May and gathered participants from Croatian, Russia, Poland, Slovenia, Czech Republic, Ukraine and Hungary.

Therefore, the University of Stellenbosch Business School (USB) is launching the Postgraduate Diploma in Leadership Development for NPOs in 2020, meant to improve personal performance by strengthening resilience, resourcefulness and confidence of NPO leaders.

On April 24, 2019 the University of Latvia (LU) and the Riga Technical University (RTU), in cooperation with the State University of New York at Buffalo (UB), launched a new interdisciplinary program of excellence, which will be coordinated by the RTU Riga Business School (RBS).

The study of the current changing economic situation, quick response to challenges and the development of new instructions, approaches and tools for effectively real business problem solving are the task of business school all over the world. The faculty members of KROK Business School is not an exception, its scientific studies demonstrates the special issue of the journal “Scientific notes of the KROK University” (“Economics” series). They were also very active internationally as their Head of the Creativity Reserch Center – KROK Business School held a workshop at the Florida Creativity Conference XVI, USA.
