The “Uly Balkhash Shakyrady” ice hike organized by AlmaU University has become a tradition for residents. On December 18, 2024, the Northern Ski Race "Ski Trail of Musin-Ivanov" took place in Lobanovo village, North Kazakhstan. Organized by AlmaU and Zeynep Multidisciplinary College, the race honored outstanding athletes Samat Musin and Nikolai Ivanov for their significant contribution to the development of skiing in Kazakhstan.

The Accreditation and Certification Committee of FIBAA has accredited three educational programs at Almaty Management University (AlmaU): «Restaurant and Hotel business», «Public Relations» and «Law». The accreditation is valid for 5 years (until 2029) and confirms the high quality and alignment of AlmaU’s programs with international standards.
