31st CEEMAN Annual Conference entitled “Leadership for a Sustainable World” was brilliantly hosted by the Almaty Management University (AlmaU) on 20-22 September. AlmaU is an entrepreneurial, socially responsible, world-class institution that previously welcomed CEEMAN in 2015, and we were delighted to be back for the second time.

The University of Economics and Human Sciences in Warsaw is pleased to announce that the call for applications for the Mens Docta 2022/2023 competition has opened. The awards will be given during the Diploma Award Gala, which will take place in the Main Hall of the UEHS in Warsaw on 6 November 2023.

As of September 22nd, the GRE General Test will take less than 2 hours to complete — roughly half the time of the current test. This makes the GRE General Test the shortest and most efficient test for graduate, business and law school admissions. The shorter GRE test will continue to provide test takers and institutions with the same valid and reliable scores.

MCI | The Entrepreneurial School® has received funding for five future-oriented Erasmus+ projects, developed in close cooperation with the European university alliance Ulysseus. The total funding for these innovative educational projects is 1,710,000 euros, with the MCI generating 335,489 euros in third-party funding.

On September 8th and 9th, Montpellier Business School’s Chair in Social and Sustainable Finance co-organized the 2023 International Conference in Finance, Banking, and Accounting (ICFBA) with the University of Portsmouth School of Accounting, Economics, and Finance. This event brought together over 160 international researchers, featuring unique conferences and keynote speakers, including Dr. Steven Ongena from the University of Zurich, Dr. Renée Adams from the University of Oxford, and MBS’s own experts, Dr. Anastasia Cozarenco, Dr. Fotios Pasiouras, Dr. Moez Bennouri, and Dr. Thi Hong Van Hoang.

We are happy to announce that we have a new CEEMAN Champion! Dr. Shilpi Agarwal, Associate Professor and Program Director at Woxsen University, India, has been chosen as CEEMAN Responsible Management Educator of the Year.

The University of Economics and Human Sciences in Warsaw held Talent Classes where students learned about the challenges of the modern labor market. They were conducted by Talent Days, Poland's largest job and career fair that helps young people discover their talents. Talent Classes were for both Polish- and English-speaking students.

In July 2023, the University of Economics and Human Sciences in Warsaw announced the winner of the 2023 “Złote Indeksy” (“Golden Student Record Books”) competition. This competition was first held at the university's 20th anniversary in 2021. The candidate’s task is to compose the best essay on the assigned topic to receive a full tuition discount for the entire course of study.
