Key events included celebrating Adam Smith’s philosophy with the University of Glasgow, hosting a finance roundtable with various institutions, and completing global consulting projects with Cambridge Judge Business School. Additionally, Assistant Professor LEI Linan appeared on Hangzhou TV’s "Our Roundtable Meeting."

With the support of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Technology Commercialization Center of Almaty Management University in partnership with the National Academy of Sciences under the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, as well as the Thunderbird School of Global Management organized the "InnoBoost- Winter 2024" program for commercialization of scientific projects.

We are thrilled to showcase the inspiring journey of Mikolaj Pindelski, PhD, hab., from SGH Warsaw School of Economics. He is an IMTA alumni from 2018 who has since become a vibrant advocate for the program.

On March 21, 2024, Assylbek Kozhakhmetov shared insights into the development of Almaty Management University (AlmaU) as an innovative university. Established in 1988, AlmaU was a training ground for the management of the first Kazakh entrepreneurs, pioneering the first MBA programs, and introducing the DBA in the Republic of Kazakhstan.

On April 12, the Reintegration Management Program (RMP) commenced at MIM Business School, with 105 selected participants. The majority hail from the temporarily occupied territories. Given their high application numbers, the program gave them priority, along with veterans and current Armed Forces members.

A major international «Crack It» case championship has ended – 90 teams from Almaty, Tashkent and Bishkek offered their solutions for the current business problems of Kazakhstani companies. More than 360 people participated in the case championship, representing teams from schools and universities.

Almaty Management University is proud to announce a significant expansion of the AlmaU Board of Trustees BoT). On April 1, 2024, at the outreach meeting of the Board of Trustees in the School of Management at Zhejiang University, two new members were presented. The AlmaU BoT discussed the strategy and future direction of the university.

On the 6th of April, TEAM University won 1st place in the international case championship "CRACK IT", which was held in Almaty.
