Officially launched at the 26th CEEMAN Annual Conference in Prague, the CEEMAN Manifesto “Changing the Course of Management Development: Combining Excellence with Relevance” marks an important milestone for CEEMAN and its members: it is a publication and call to action at the same time, seeking to encourage management education institutions to examine their mission and strategy and determine whether both excellence and relevance are sufficiently featured in those.

The Lead4Skills research partnership lead by CEEMAN is proud to present the project outcomes including The Cross Country Report on Management Development Needs, Guidelines for Management and Leadership Skills Development and a Teaching Case Study Collection. All materials are openly available for use.

"Business and Society: Making Management Education Relevant for the 21st Century" is the result of a research project coordinated by CEEMAN and IEDC-Bled School of Management in 11 countries that lasted over two years. The main objective of the research, having conducted in-depth interviews with more than 200 CEOs and HR managers, was to achieve a better understanding of emerging business challenges as well as management and leadership development needs.

The summer 2018 edition of CEEMAN News puts special emphasis on the upcoming CEEMAN Annual Conference in Prague and the association's 25th anniversary that will be celebrated there. In line with that, it features an interview with Roger Martin, one of the most innovative management thinkers of our time, as he will be one of the keynote speakers at the conference. The issue also gives you an account of our ongoing as well as recently concluded events, and introduces you to the exciting new workshop CEEMAN is launching for top leadership teams for the first time this year. CEEMAN member and partner organizations are also included sharing information on upcoming events, updates, and research insights.

The 2018 spring issue of CEEMAN News features »Reflections on the IMTA Journey«, an exciting account about the beginnings and development of IMTA through the years by IMTA Director Jim Ellert. It also contains information on the keynote speaker at this year's CEEMAN Annual Conference, Roger Martin, and Kai Peters, who is joining the Program Management Seminar as faculty member. CEEMAN is also launching an engaging and insightful new workshop for top leadership teams. We are happy to let you know that a new book on reflections on teaching and learning, edited by IMTA 2016 alumni Wolfgang Amann of HEC Paris in Qatar and Jenson Goh of the National University of Singapore, was published at the end of 2017 by Information Age Publishing. It appears as a volume in the Research in Management Education and Development series (editors Agata Stachowicz-Stanusch of the Silesian University of Technology and Wolfgang Amann).

Resilience is highly used in science and arts almost every day while we might not see it linked to our existence. With resilience and resilient mindset, we would see and appreciate many things in our life and where we could optimise the influence to our socio-economy.

Redefining Success: Integrating Sustainability into Management Education (edited by Patricia M. Flynn, Tay Keong Tan, Milenko Gudić) advocates incorporating sustainability concepts that go beyond the financial ‘bottom line’ into management education and business practice. 25th CEEMAN Annual Conference took place from 20-22 September 2017 in Hangzhou, China. The event, focusing on the topic of "Rethinking Entrepreneurship – Challenges for Management Education in Rising Economies", was hosted and co-organized by School of Management, Zhejiang University.
