CEEMAN in cooperation with IEDC-Bled School of Management published a new book titled "Hidden Champions in CEE and Turkey – Carving Out a Global Niche". The book was edited by Peter McKiernan of the University of Strathclyde, Glasgow, and Prof. Danica Purg of CEEMAN and IEDC. It was published by Springer.

Palgrave Macmillan has published The Passion and Discipline of Strategy, a new book by Prof. Krzysztof Obloj, Professor of Strategic Management of the School of Management at Warsaw University and Kozminski University of Poland. Prof Krzystztof Obloj, who has been IMTA faculty for Strategic Management Track since 2002, serves also as an advisor to the President of Poland.

In preparation for the its 2013 Annual Conference, “Education, Employment and Entrepreneurship”, which was held in Tunisia in June, the Global Business School Network produced a research paper to provide context for a conversation about the global employment situation. The paper, titled “Education, Employment and Entrepreneurship: A Snapshot of the Global Jobs Challenge,” provides an overview of current research on jobs in developing countries, with special attention given to youth and women. The paper explores the relationship between education and employment, and the role that entrepreneurship plays in increasing jobs and decreasing unemployment overall. It highlights the importance of using technology to improve access to quality education and calls for cooperation between business schools, government representatives, NGOs, entrepreneurs and business professionals from around the globe.
