Bled, Slovenia / Prague, Czechia – 23 September 2025 As the world’s largest cross-sector leadership gathering prepares to convene in Prague under the theme “Leading Together,” the International Leadership Association’s 27th Global Conference will this year be chaired by Professor Danica Purg, Founder and Dean of IEDC–Bled School of Management and President of CEEMAN - the International Association for Management Development in Dynamic Societies.

Faculty and doctoral candidates from International Executive School, Strasbourg will present research at Queen Mary University London, December 2-4, 2025. Their studies address sustainability challenges including water security, climate diplomacy, cultural heritage, Islamic finance, and women's empowerment.

The Wroclaw University of Economics and Business, in cooperation with the Institute for Eastern Studies Foundation and the National Council of Regional Chambers of Audit, has published the latest edition of the Local Government Financial Ranking in Poland 2024. The report, prepared cyclically since 2017, is one of the most comprehensive tools for analyzing local government finances in Poland. The academic coordinator of the ranking is Dr. Małgorzata Gałecka from the Wroclaw University of Economics and Business and the Impakt Dolny Slask Think Tank. The preparation of the ranking by academic experts ensures full objectivity and the highest level of methodological reliability.

MIM students took part in a field session to Zakarpattia region, where they explored local companies’ best practices and learned how regional businesses sustain growth amid wartime challenges. The visit combined academic learning with real-life examples of resilience, innovation, and community leadership in Western Ukraine.

Durres, Albania – 26 September 2025 – The 33rd CEEMAN Annual Conference, held in partnership with AVIS Albania, is concluding today in Durres, Albania after three days of high-level discussions, institutional networking, and knowledge exchange. Under the theme “The Role of Business Schools in a New World Order,” the event gathered 115 leaders from academia, business, and policy representing 28 countries.

The Brave 4.0 program, hosted by MIM Business School, has concluded, supporting veterans, people with war-related disabilities, families of missing servicemen, and families of fallen defenders. With a focus on small agribusiness, the initiative strengthens resilience and fosters a future of recovery and growth for Ukraine.
